Suppliers

It's taken a while to find good suppliers, in the begining we were let down badly by some would be suppliers and told some lies but we won't embarass those companies here (for legal reasons mostly).

What we have is a list of those companies where we get our materials and equipment. This list is given in good faith and Foamwings cannot be held responsible for any problems arising.

The software package includes an airfoil database with over 1100 wing airfoils. For those of you who want more or who want to use their own airfoils, there is a powerful airfoil editor, with which airfoils can be entered in tabular or graphic form and processed. If no coordinates exist for a certain airfoil, it can be vectored quickly by means of scanning.

With the Wing Designer it is possible to 'combine' complex wings from a large number of parts, including spars, joiners, leading and trailing edges, sheeting, etc. in the computer.

The output facilities are just as versatile and flexible as the construction tools. If you have a suitable plotter or large-scale printer, you can output 1:1 drawings directly. If you only have a small A4 or A3 printer, the drawing is divided into single sheets. Markings are printed to allow the sheets to be joined up into a 1:1 drawing.
